Our Interview With Designer Sareh Nouri - Exploring the Love Always Wins Collection!

In an unprecedented time of challenges in the bridal fashion industry, our beloved designer Sareh Nouri sets out to prove that love always wins with her Fall 2021 Collection! In light of her triumphant new collection, we’re thrilled to share our exclusive interview with Sareh about her newest designs and navigating the gown shopping process for newly engaged brides.
How did you get started designing wedding gowns?
I started designing wedding gowns as I could not find a dress that I envisioned myself wearing for my own wedding in 2009. I designed my own dress and had it made.
How would you describe the Sareh Nouri bride?
The Sareh Nouri bride is classic, timeless, and fashionable.
Tell us about your design process! How long does it take for your ideas to come to fruition?
The design process starts with sketches, then picking out fabrics and draping the fabrics on forms, then creating the samples. Normally the new collection starts 4 months before bridal fashion week.
What is your favorite trend in bridal fashion at the moment?
My favorite trends in bridal fashion right now is soft draping, our signature bows, and clean gowns!
What do you think are the most important things for a bride to consider when choosing her wedding gown?
Be honest with the sales consultant about what the vision is you would like to achieve. It is an emotional purchase and a bride really has to envision themselves walking down the aisle.
What is your best piece of advice for a bride who has just begun her gown search?
I recommend doing research on gowns and designers you are interested in. Brides should have an open mind and try on different styles.
How do you draw inspiration for new designs? What was your inspiration for the Love Always Wins collection?
Each season is different, I always start with fabrics and try to keep every collection consistent with our brand esthetic. Love Always Wins Collection was dedicated to all of my brides. It is a happy and cheerful collection.
Which is your favorite gown from your latest collection and why?
I love all the gowns in my new collection. If I had to choose one, my favorite gown from the latest collection is Ren. It is a quintessential Sareh Nouri gown with a signature Sareh Nouri bow.
What is your best advice for a newly engaged couple planning a wedding during this time?
Stay positive, you will still be able to have a wedding and celebrate your love for one another.
