Children’s Flight of Hope

Providing free, private air transportation for seriously ill or injured children who, due to medical financial or logistical reasons, cannot travel to their destinations by any other method, this charity touches the lives of numerous children and the families who love them.

Alexia’s feels that every child deserves proper medical care, and we are honored to help children and families in need. We feel close to this charity because it is a private organization with volunteer pilots who are dedicated to help one child at a time. As a small, family-owned business, we feel we can truly make a difference for this charity and these children.

Jimmy V Foundation

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was started in 1993 to honor Jim Valvano. From very humble beginnings of Jim’s personal friends and family, The Foundation grew. Today, that circle of friends has expanded, and the support structure of The Foundation includes people of all walks of life simply because they believe in the possibility of Jim’s final wish – to fund research to find cures for cancer.

As true for many people today, Alexia and the Alexia’s Team has been personally touched by cancer. Therefore, we have a personal determination to fight cancer in any way possible.

Cary Visual Art

The mission of Cary Visual Art is to promote, inspire, encourage, and support visual arts for the uplifting of the human spirit in the Cary community.

Alexia’s first became involved with Cary Visual Arts during the historic restoration of their sister salon, Lana Addison Bridal, located in downtown Cary. Since then, Alexia Joyce has been on the Art Ball Committee for the past two years; and she and her husband, Michael, enjoy being involved with the revitalization of Historic Downtown Cary. The introduction of art to the downtown community is breathtaking and exciting for the community.
