Lindsay Levine's Bridal Journey: A Storybook Romance

Lindsay Levine’s bridal journey is a wonderful story of spontaneity and true romance. Living her very busy life made it difficult to meet the perfect person to share it with… until she began speaking with Chris, a sweet, thoughtful, and persistent man who truly stood out to her.

What started as email conversations with Chris developed into a deep connection and plans for an elaborate, romantic dinner date one Saturday evening. When Lindsay’s busy schedule got in the way they did not let it ruin their opportunity to finally meet one another. What could have been bad news of a cancelled date turned into a spontaneous meeting over French pressed coffee on Chris’s porch right in the middle of Lindsay’s busy day, a scene that could be taken straight from a Parisian romance novel.

It should be of no surprise that the two immediately fell in love! Chris knew within only days of dating Lindsay that he wanted to spend his life with her, and after only a few weeks of dating he asked her to be his wife. Perhaps it seemed fast to others, but Chris and Lindsay had perfect chemistry that they simply knew would last forever.

Initially they planned on eloping, but after trying on a wedding dress Lindsay knew she wanted more. She immediately thought of the gowns she had seen on display in the Alexia’s Bridal Boutique windows when she would pass by on her way to work. She booked an appointment with us during one of our Liancarlo Bridal Trunk Shows and absolutely loved the blush gowns on display for the event’s featured collection.

Co-owner of Liancarlo, Alan, flew in from Miami for the Trunk Show and worked alongside our bridal consultants and storeowner in helping Lindsay find her dream gown. He told her that she had the perfect hourglass shape for the pieces in his collection. When she tried on the Liancarlo gowns she immediately knew that she would never find another as perfect. In fact, she loved two gowns so much that Alan fashioned a beautiful customized piece that incorporated one gown’s bodice with the other gown’s skirt to create her true dream gown. She described the gown as “a work of art; a masterpiece.” Her beautiful ensemble was completed with a coordinating Chapel length veil, incorporating the same hand-embroidered floral details.

What better wedding for a storybook romance than an intimate ceremony of only 16 guests at The Oakleaf? They only invited close relatives, wanting a sentimental wedding that focused on the joining of their families as one. The day was perfect and filled with passion and enjoyment, and Lindsay looked beautiful every moment of it! Below are some of her stunning photos, taken by J.B. Haygood Photography. We are so happy for Lindsay and Chris and wish them the best of luck as they continue to write their romantic story together!
